1917 Restaurant

Hours: Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Located inside the Embassy Suites hotel, you’ll find 1917 Restaurant. The restaurant offers a true farm-to-table dining experience thanks to its locally sourced ingredients. An on-site garden supplies herbs and vegetables, while the hotel’s beehives provide the honey that sweetens various menu items. In addition to the restaurant, there’s also a bar and a market. When the weather permits, you can enjoy your meal on the patio, complete with firepits and a waterfall. Take advantage of happy hour specials on weekdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
On the lunch menu, you’ll find appetizers such as garlic flatbread and wood oven chicken wings that will start your meal off nicely. Its signature 1917 Dip is a must-try sandwich that comes with shaved rotisserie prime rib, Swiss cheese, smoky provolone, caramelized onion, and garlic horseradish dijonnaise on toasty ciabatta bread served with rotisserie jus. B&B Smokehouse

For lunch, you can get specials every day of the week. For example, on Wednesday, you can choose either a sausage po’boy with fries or a three-pork rib plate with two sides. Or go on Friday for a brisket po’boy with fries or a brisket and sausage plate with two sides. Speaking of sides, it offers potato salad, cream corn, Spanish rice, coleslaw, pinto beans, and green beans. Sherry’s Texan

Although Sherry’s Texan specializes in seafood dishes, you can also get breakfast here, making it an ideal place to go for any meal of the day. If you do stop in for breakfast, you can get classics like pancakes, biscuits and gravy, egg plates, and omelets. But if you’re craving seafood, go for lunch or dinner. You’ll find menu items such as The Fisherman’s Platter, which comes with three jumbo shrimp, two oysters, two fish fillets, shrimp cocktail, stuffed crab, and hushpuppies, as well as the flounder dinner, which is flounder fried in your choice of cornmeal or flour.
